Stewart hosts comedy 'Night'

'Too Many Stars' held on April 13

Jon Stewart will host his second star-studded event of the year when he oversees Comedy Central's "Night of Too Many Stars: An Overbooked Benefit for Autism Education."

Stewart's Busboy Prods. is collaborating with the laffer net to produce the biennial charity night, which will feature live sketches and short films from comedy thesps such as Will Ferrell, Tina Fey, Steve Carell, Stephen Colbert, Adam Sandler and Sarah Silverman.

To beef up coverage, Comedy Central will offer streaming video highlights on Comedycentral.com and downloads of the entire festivities on iTunes and Xbox Marketplace, in addition to its live telecast.

The "Night of Too Many Stars" will be held April 13 at Gotham's Beacon Theater. In 2006, Comedy Central raised more than $2.5 million with the event to support schools for kids with autism.
