He will continue to report to prexy Daniel Battsek and senior veep of international distrib and operations, Colleen Seldin. His purview will include ongoing supervision of Miramax campaigns with Disney distribs in international markets.
Angrisani will handle Golden Globe, BAFTA and AMPAS publicity and campaigns for Miramax films.
He spearheaded international press and award efforts on Paul Thomas Anderson's "There Will Be Blood."
Upcoming Angrisani initiatives are writer-director John Patrick Shanley's "Doubt," starring Meryl Streep and Philip Seymour Hoffman and produced by Scott Rudin; Mark Herman's "The Boy in the Striped Pajamas," based on John Boyne's novel and starring Vera Farmiga and David Thewlis; and Greg Mottola's "Adventureland," with Ryan Reynolds and Kristen Stewart.
He was a key player in the Golden Globe kudos push for the Coen brothers' "No Country for Old Men," Julian Schnabel's "The Diving Bell and the Butterfly" and Ben Affleck's "Gone Baby Gone."
Angrisani was a publicist for Universal for seven years before joining Miramax in 2004.
