Film Movement nabs 'Grocer's Son'

Film running through Sunday at Lincoln Center

Film Movement has acquired North American rights to "The Grocer's Son," a French dramatic comedy helmed by Eric Guirado. Story follows a city slicker forced to return to the countryside to help his family. Thesps Nicolas Cazale and Clotilde Hesme were both named rising stars at last month's Berlin Film Festival. Pic is running through Sunday as part of the Rendez-Vous with French Cinema at the Lincoln Center Film Society.

Deal was handled by Film Movement prexy Adley Gartenstein and Daniela Elstner of Les Films du Losange.
