Salzberg, Tureaud take HighRoad

Bill Conti to score William Dear's 'Perfect Game'

Producers David Salzberg and Christian Tureaud have launched HighRoad Entertainment and acquired rights to sports film "The Perfect Game."

The shingle's signed composer Bill Conti to score the movie.

"The Perfect Game," previously called "The Third Miracle," centers on the 1957 Little League World Series champs from Monterrey, Mexico. The ragtag team stunned the world of baseball by winning 13 straight games by a total score of 99 to 13, relying on the charity of the very people they were beating along the way, and won the final game in a perfect game with no hits or base runners.

Pic was directed by William Dear and penned by W. William Winokur. It stars Clifton Collins Jr. plus Cheech Marin, Emilie de Ravin, Louis Gossett Jr. and Bruce McGill. Team members include Moises Arias, Jansen Panettiere and Jake T. Austin.

The movie went into production in 2006 under a partnership between Mandalay Integrated Media Entertainment and Prelude Pictures. Salzberg and Tureaud had also been working on a biopic about St. Paul as part of that alliance.
