Last year's fund-raiser earned $76 million for U.S. and global charities, with acts performing from "Idol's" home soundstage in Hollywood and the Disney Concert Hall in downtown Los Angeles. This year the show will be split between the regular stage and the Kodak Theater.
Other musicians previously announced include John Legend, Annie Lennox, Miley Cyrus, Mariah Carey and Snoop Dogg.
"Idol Gives Back," a two-hour broadcast, will air at 8 p.m.
