Warner/Chappell will administer Hansard and Irglova's catalog of work, including songs written by Hansard as a member of the Frames; music from the duo's debut album, "The Swell Season"; and songs from the "Once" soundtrack, as well as their future compositions. They won the Oscar for "Falling Slowly."
Neither the duo, which has been booked as the Swell Season, nor the Frames have recording contracts. Hansard and Irglova will be touring the U.S. from late April through mid-June.
"Glen's and Mar's songs have touched so many who have seen the film 'Once,' " said Glen Brunman, executive VP and head of creative (U.S.) for Warner/Chappell. "Glen's work with the Frames will continue to rock, and we'll make sure that it reaches an even wider audience."
