In another slow week for music sales -- down 13% from the same week last year -- "Sleep" nearly doubled the sales of the No. 2 disc, Alicia Keys' "As I Am," which sold 53,000.
Only two albums debuted in the top 10 this week, according to Nielsen SoundScan data.
"Kidz Bop Vol. 13" (Razor & Tie) pops in at No. 4, selling 49,000. It is the seventh consecutive Kidz Bop record to debut in the top 10. The series has sold 10.5 million copies in its seven years, according to the label.
Chris Cagle's "My Life's Been a Country Song" (Capitol Nashville) sold 37,000 copies to open at No. 9. It is the week's biggest-selling country album.
Among other debuts were Jim Jones' mix tape "Harlem's American Gangster" (Koch), selling 25,000 (No. 19), and Secondhand Serenade's "A Twist in My Story," which sold 16,000 to land at No. 44, the first top 50 album for new indie imprint Glassnote.
Sara Bareilles' debut album, "Little Voice," has been on the album chart for 21 weeks and makes its first entry into the top 10 by selling 37,000 copies. It rose 14 slots to No. 7, buoyed partially by her song appearing in a commercial for Rhapsody/TiVo. Disc has not charted higher than No. 15. Disc's cume is 403,000.
Next week's top 10 will feature Janet Jackson's "Discipline," Erykah Badu's latest and the effects of the Oscar win on the "Once" soundtrack.
