Disney launches VOD in China

Available on Now TV platform

The Disney Channel on Monday bowed its first subscription video-on-demand service in Greater China, available on Hong Kong’s Now TV platform.

Customers already taking the five-channel Disney Special package costing HK$138 ($17.70) per month can add the new service for $1.92 per month.

Service will include “Hannah Montana,” “The Suite Life of Zack and Cody,” “That’s So Raven,” “Kim Possible,” “Lilo & Stitch,” “American Dragon” and “Emperor’s New School.” “High School Musical” will be available at launch.
