Lawyers to represent entertainment clientele

Hollywood transactional attorney Peter Nelson and longtime partner George Davis have established Nelson Davis, an entertainment law firm that will represent writers, directors and actors.

Attorney Mark J. Wetzstein will join Nelson and Davis at the newly created firm. The three previously worked together at Nelson Felker Toczek Davis, which Nelson founded in 1986 and where his clients included helmers Peter Jackson and Andrew Adamson and thesps David Duchovny, Allison Janney and Tea Leoni. All of Nelson's clients are expected to follow him to the new firm.

Nelson negotiated Jackson's deals on "The Lord of the Rings" trilogy and Adamson's deal on "The Chronicles of Narnia" pics with co-counsel Nancy Newhouse-Porter.
