The coming-of-age comedy centers on a brother who tries to protect his younger sister from guys just like him. Melissa Stack wrote the screenplay
Todd Black, Jason Blumenthal and Steve Tisch are producing through their Escape Artists shingle. Aaron Kaplan and Sean Perrone exec produce.
MTV Films preemptively purchased Stack's spec for $300,000 against $600,000 in March.
Speck and Gordon's credits include the ABC series "Cavemen." The pair are also developing the artificial insemination comedy "Baster" at Columbia Pictures as a directing vehicle.
