Canuck drama will debut in Gotham on March 14 at the Museum of Modern Art's fifth anniversary film series celebrating Canadian cinema. Pic, helmed by Bruce McDonald ("Hard Core Logo"), is produced by Sarah Timmins and exec produced by Paul Barkin.
"Fragments" features Page playing 15-year-old Tracey Berkowitz, who is searching for her missing tween brother, whom she fears she's hypnotized into thinking he's a dog.
Based on scribe Maureen Medved's novel of the same name, story is culled from monologues about a disturbed teen. Pic employs split-screen techniques and jagged time to represent the teen's addled thoughts.
