NFBC, iThentic team on tech films

Duo to produce six three-minute shorts

The Natl. Film Board of Canada and Toronto-based mobile content company iThentic have pacted to produce six three-minute pics about obsession for online, mobile and bigscreen viewing.

The pics will include Oscar-nominated helmer Shui-bo Wang’s “Wish You Were Here,” about a woman from Shanghai who writes to her ex-boyfriend every day for years, and Oscar-nominated filmmaker Hubert Davis’ “Moments,” about a man thinking back to his childhood. The shorts will air on IFC in Canada this year.
