Senator wants to beef up its TV production division. It recently announced a joint venture with helmer Wolfgang Petersen to produce English-language miniseries via its Cologne-based subsidiary Pro, which it acquired last year. Senator also recently purchased 25% of Berlin-based Eastern European distrib A Co.
