Rashida Jones has landed the female lead in DreamWorks' comedy "I Love You, Man," opposite Paul Rudd and Jason Segal. "The Office" regular also will co-star in the Renee Zellweger-Harry Connick Jr. starrer "Chilled in Miami" for Gold Circle Films.

John Hamburg directs "I Love You" from a script he wrote about a man about to get married (Rudd) who seeks out a stranger to be his best man for the wedding. Jones will play the fiancee.

Shooting is scheduled to begin in early April.

"Chilled" centers on a Miami businesswoman who is transferred to rural Minnesota, and while she is there she re-evaluates her big-city values. Jones will play the best friend to Zellweger's character.

Jones will star on Fox's upcoming half-hour comedy "Unhitched," from the Farrelly brothers. Her film credits include "Life in Flight," "Brief Interviews With Hideous Men" and "Little Black Book."
