Argentina's INCAA Film Institute has inked with the Spanish Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences to screen one or two Argentinean films every month at the Academy's new inhouse cinema in Madrid.

Argentinean films chosen will be those that haven't yet snagged commercial distribution in Spain or other parts of Europe, Bernardo Bergeret, INCAA's manager of international affairs, said at the Berlin fest.

Pic will have two screenings, one for distribs and industry execs, another for the general public, he added.

"It's one way to promote Argentinean cinema and aid its sales," Bergeret said.

The monthly screening joins other Argentinean pic promotion initiatives, such as Argencine, a week of Argentinean pics, which last took place in April. Buenos Aires will host a Madrid Cine week this year.
