HOLLYWOOD -- The excitement didn't stop as champagne bottles popped and beats dropped at several Grammy after-parties Sunday.

Over at the Sony BMG bash at the BevHills Hotel, the excitement was palpable when Aretha Franklin's train came rolling through. Additional star power could be found outside at the VIP cabanas where Tony Bennett and John Mayer set up shop. Nearby, a trio of rappers -- T-Pain, Omarion and Chamillionaire -- sipped bubbly.

At the Warner Music party, Kid Rock, Cindy Crawford and Randy Gerber mingled at Vibiana, which was transformed into a garden oasis complete with neon birds dangling over the deejay booth. Across town, Universal Music Group celebrated at the Palm restaurant with Les Moonves, Snoop Dogg and Beyonce.

Chris Brown headed into West Hollywood's STK restaurant for Entertainment Weekly's Grammy party, wearing a backpack and explained: "There's a second set of clothes in here just in case I get all sweaty after I dance."

The EW soiree lauded Island Def Jam music topper Antonio "L.A." Reid, who spoke admirably about Kanye West's performance at the kudofest. "The strength he had to do 'Hey Mama' on stage touched me," said Reid. "I thought, 'Please don't shed a tear, because I'm going to be right there with you shedding a tear and I don't want to do that in a room full of people.' "
