Tantleff, who came to WMA when George Lane left to start CAA's theater arm, will run Paradigm's Theater Lit Dept. with William Craver.
WMA's theater department will be steered by Peter Franklin.
Tantleff, a 25-year vet who ran the Tantleff Office before joining WMA, said he sparked to Paradigm topper Sam Gores' plans to grow the agency's legit division and the agency's presence in New York.
Tantleff brings with him 40 clients in an array of departments that include playwrights Aaron Sorkin, Alfred Uhry("Driving Miss Daisy") and Arthur Kopit ("Nine"); Francesca Zambello, the opera director who directed "Disney's The Little Mermaid"; directors-choreographers Matthew Bourne and Jeff Calhoun ("High School Musical"); composer Henry Krieger ("Side Show"); composer-lyricist David Yazbek ("The Full Monty"); bookwriter Mark O'Donnell ("Hairspray"); and designers John Arnone, Gregg Barnes and Ann Hould-Ward.
"I came from an entrepreneurial background, and consider myself someone who likes to grow a business by shaking things," Tantleff said.
