Weinstein Co. marketing veep Francois Martin has been named senior VP of marketing for Dimension Films.
At TWC, Martin handled TV, radio, outdoor media and online promo campaigns for Weinstein and Dimension releases, positioning the likes of "1408," "Grindhouse" and "The Great Debaters."
Prior to his post at TWC, Martin served as director of media and marketing at Miramax, where some of his high-profile campaigns included "Sin City," "The Aviator" and "Chicago."
Highlighting Dimension's 2008 slate are "Superhero Movie," "Soul Men" and the thriller "Clive Barker Presents Hellraiser."
