The romantic comedy is based on the novel "Life Is a Strange Place" by Frank Turner Hollon.
"Barry Munday" is co-financed by Mickey Barold and Stone Douglass' Stick N Stone Prods. and Matthew Weaver and Scott Prisand's Corner Store Entertainment.
Eric Kopeloff is producing; Marcos Siega and Carl Levin will exec produce. Filming is set to begin Los Angeles in April.
Wilson just wrapped "Watchmen" and next appears in "Lakeview Terrace" and "Passengers."
D'Arienzo is involved in several projects as scribe: "La Vida Robot" for John Wells Prods. at Warners; an untitled HBO drama produced by Tobey Maguire; and "Rock of Ages," a hard-rock musical that will open Off Broadway in the summer.
