Pop star Amy Winehouse has been granted a visa by the U.S. State Department just days after the U.S. denied the embattled singer entry. However, despite this latest development, the U.K. singer apparently won't be performing at this weekend's Grammy ceremony due to "the logistics involved and timing complications, " says an official from Winehouse's camp.

No word yet on why the U.S. overturned their decision today but one official was quoted as saying Winehouse's "use and abuse of narcotics" was primary reason for the original rejection.

Winehouse has been in rehab the past few weeks in a very public bout with substance abuse and is still scheduled to perform at this weekend's kudos via satellite broadcast from London, her rep confirms.

The 23 year-old R&B singer is nominated for six Grammy awards including record and album of the year.
