James McAvoy is in talks to board “Perrier’s Bounty,” a comedy-thriller about three fugitives on the run from a big-time gangster out for revenge following the accidental death of one of his gang members.
Anne-Marie Duff (“Is There Anybody There?”) is also in negotiations to join the cast.
Ian Fitzgibbon will direct from a script by Mark O’Rowe (“Boy A”; “Intermission”).
Project was developed through U.K. shingle Number 9 Films’ slate funding with Parallel Films, with support from Film4, the Irish Film Board and the U.K. Film Council.
Parallel’s Alan Moloney is producing alongside Stephen Woolley and Elizabeth Karlsen from Number 9.
Hanway Films is handling worldwide sales. Lensing will begin this year.
