The Signature Theater has completed casting for its upcoming celebration of the works of Kander & Ebb this spring.
Newly signed to its April 1-June 1 production of "The Happy Time" are George Dvorsky, David Margulies and Michael Minarik. The seldom produced tuner will be staged by Michael Unger.
In addition, Marc Jacoby has been tapped to join Chita Rivera and George Hearn in "The Visit," which plays from May 13-June 22 at Signature's Max Theater. Frank Galati will direct and Ann Reinking will choreograph the musical, written by Terrence McNally based on the play by Friedrich Durrenmatt.
As previously reported, the fest will also include a production of "Kiss of the Spider Woman (March 11- April 20), featuring Will Chase, Natascia Diaz, and Hunter Foster. Signature a.d. Eric Schaeffer will direct.
