Oscar shorts come to theaters

Program will open Feb. 15 in 50 cities

For the third straight year, Magnolia Pictures and Shorts International will partner up to bring Oscar-nommed shorts to theaters around the U.S. before the 80th annual Academy Awards. The Oscar Shorts Program will open in roughly 50 cities on Feb. 15 and expand in the following weeks.

Both the live-action and animation nominees will be featured in the program and screenings will be in high-quality digital this year for the first time.
