HOLLYWOOD -- First time was a charm for "No Country for Old Men's" Scott Rudin. The longtime producer made his debut appearance at a Producers Guild of America ceremony, Saturday at the Beverly Hilton, and wound up taking home the top prize.

When asked at the cocktail party if he liked his chances, Rudin quipped, "Of course. It's my first-ever PGA Awards." Rudin was joined in the winner's circle by fellow "Country" producers Ethan and Joel Coen, the latter weighing in on the much-publicized matter of awards show heckling.

"Is Sean Young here?" he joked, referring to the actress who famously harangued helmer Julian Schnabel from the audience during the previous week's DGA Awards and was promptly booted. "Heckling does make good theater."

As for Schnabel, he has no hard feelings toward the thesp. "I should pay her to follow me around," "The Diving Bell and the Butterfly" auteur said. "It wasn't fair that they threw her out. They shouldn't have done that."
