TV biz veteran Ed Wilson has been named president of Tribune Broadcasting, where he'll oversee the company's 23 TV stations, Tribune Entertainment, WGN Superstation and WGN Radio.
Wilson joins Tribune after spending the past four years as prexy of Fox Television Network. Before that he was the top syndie exec at NBC and CBS. He also worked in sales at Columbia TriStar's syndie arm.
Longtime Tribune Co. station exec John Reardon, who had most recently headed the stations division, has left the company, Tribune confirmed.
