Stetson had recently relocated to Los Angeles to restart his acting career after several years working for ATA (Air Transport Association of America) where he was involved with transporting troops and supplies to Afghanistan and Iraq after 9/11.
Stetson appeared in the British stage premieres of "The Autumn Garden" directed by Stephen Hollis and "Yegor Bulichoff & Friends," directed by Roger Jenkins. He was also a series regular on the London Weekend Television's "We'll Meet Again" starring Susannah York and appeared in 22 episodes of "All My Children" in the U.S.
He was also seen in "Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy" with Sir Alec Guinness, the feature film, "Yanks!," and appeared in BBC, Yorkshire TV and Thames Television shows including "Prince Regent," "The SandBaggers," "The Benny Hill Show" and "Secret Army."
Trained at the California Institute of the Arts where he was featured in the short film, "Nightrider," co-starring Ed Harris and directed by Ron Horowitz, he also attended The Drama Studio and The Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London.
He is survived by two sisters and a brother.
