Deal, announced Monday by Stuart Baxter, SPTI's executive VP, distribution, encompasses current and library titles, including the Emmy Award-winning period drama "The Tudors," starring Jonathan Rhys Meyers and Henry Cavill; the Golden Globe-winning legal drama "Damages," with Glenn Close, Rose Byrne and Ted Danson, which recently premiered in the U.K. on BBC1; and Will Smith starrer "The Pursuit of Happyness."
"The signing of this agreement strengthens our already strong relationship with ProSieben and demonstrates the continuing demand for quality feature films and TV series on free to air channels," Baxter said. "We're also working with ProSieben's online portal, Maxdome, offering viewers a choice of how and when they see our content as well as learning how our content is used by this new generation."
