The Berlinale Talent Campus is teaming up with South Africa's longest-running film fest to create its first talent campus.
Talent Campus Durban will run July 25-29 as part of the 29th Durban Intl. Film Festival, which runs July 23- Aug. 3.
Organizers are inviting young filmmakers from Africa to apply to participate in the campus, which will have as its theme "Producing African Cinema for a New World." The deadline for applications is March 17.
The five-day program of workshops and seminars will focus on developing new projects and ideas, said organizers, while the selected young filmmakers will be able to attend films and events at the fest.
