Ethan Coen wasn't one to rest on his laurels Jan. 22, the day "No Country for Old Men," his latest pic with brother
Joel, racked up eight Oscar noms.
That same night saw the opening of Coen's first legit venture, "Almost an Evening," at the second stage of the Atlantic Theater.
Coen was involved in every part of the production process, said "Evening" director and Atlantic a.d.
Neil Pepe. "He's so used to collaborating on all those elements of a film, he wanted to do it in the theater, too," Pepe said.
Still, it must have been a pretty hectic day, right?
"Not a busy day," said Coen with equanimity, "but a good one."
