NBC shuffles schedule

'Quarterlife' premiere delayed

NBC has reskedded 'Quarterlife' to air on Sundays at 9, starting March 2.

NBC is rejiggering its midseason strike sked, delaying the premiere of new skein “Quarterlife” and slotting it on a new night.

Skein had been set to air Mondays at 9 starting Feb. 18, replacing one of two weekly airings of “Deal or No Deal.” But with “Deal” performing well, Peacock has decided to leave the gameshow right where it is.

“Quarterlife” will now air Sundays at 9 p.m., starting March 2. NBC will preview the series Tuesday, Feb. 26 at 10 p.m. behind an episode of “The Biggest Loser.”

By shifting “Quarterlife” to Sundays, “We’re providing a young-skewing original scripted alternative in an hour where the competition will be mostly unscripted programming or encores,” said NBC scheduling prexy Vince Manze.

Peacock had planned to air new-to-NBC episodes of “Psych” and “Monk” on Sunday nights from 9-11 p.m. beginning March 2. Skeins will now be held until Sunday, April 6, and will air from 8-10 p.m.
