Lenner was m.d. of phone company Telia Sonera Partners, whose parent company main biz covers mobile, TV and broadband, and before that was CEO of its subsid Halebop.
However, he has worked at Swedish Television, both behind and in front of the camera, and at production company Strix.
He starts April 1 and reports to Rasmus Ramstad president and CEO of Scandinavia's largest distrib and exhib.
Lenner's appointment, and the recent acquisition of Sonet Film, points to Svensk's ambition to be more involved in producing films than has been the case in the last couple of years.
