Joseph moves to Disney ABC

Exec to run local format production

LONDON — Disney ABC has tapped Fremantle Media drama exec Naomi Joseph to run local format production in Europe, Middle East and Africa.

She is appointed executive director of format development EMEA, responsible for local production of Disney ABC Intl. Television's reality and entertainment formats and reversioning of scripted skeins.

At Fremantle, Joseph was executive vice president of worldwide drama where she oversaw local versions of fare such as “The IT Crowd,” “Neighbours” and “Betty La Fea.”

In her new role, Joseph will report to Maria Kyriacou, vice prexy of Disney ABC's portfolio development group.
