Story revolves around a troubled family who get a second chance at happiness when the mother (Davis) suffers a memory loss and can't recall the last 15 years of her life.
Mark Lisson penned the screenplay; Finnish commercial director Vivi Friedman will helm the pic, which begins shooting in March in Los Angeles.
J. Todd Harris and Allan Jones are producing alongside Lisson.
Mulroney and Davis appeared together in "About Schmidt." Mulroney's recent credits include "The Family Stone" and "Zodiac." He is repped by ICM. Davis ("American Splendor") recently wrapped Charlie Kaufman's directorial debut, "Synecdoche, New York." She is repped by UTA and Perri Kipperman.
