United Artists has acquired remake rights to "Timecrimes," the Spanish film that debuted at Sundance over the weekend.
Steve Zaillian is attached to produce.
Nacho Vigalondo wrote and directed the time-travel saga, which was originally titled "Los Cronocrimenes." Magnolia Pictures has U.S. distribution rights to the original pic.
