Abele will oversee the marketing of New Line's next-generation/high-definition releases and the company's theatrical and catalog products.
Abele joined New Line in 1998 and has worked on marketing the DVD releases of "Hairspray," "The Namesake" and "The Lord of the Rings" trilogy.
