Lampoon gets rights to 'Many'

Feature stars Leno announcer Melendez

National Lampoon has acquired theatrical and home video rights to "One, Two, Many," written by, produced and starring "The Tonight Show With Jay Leno" announcer John Melendez.

The modern-day romance follows one man's quest to find the girl of his dreams.

The film will bow theatrically April 10.

Film also stars Bellamy Young ("Dirty Sexy Money"), Hudson Leick ("Nip/Tuck"), Jeffrey Ross ("Weeds") and Jim Bullock ("Kissing Jessica Stein") and features a cameo from Mark Cuban.

After 15 seasons on Howard Stern's radio show, Melendez, known to Stern fans as "Stuttering John," is in his fourth season on "Leno."

National Lampoon's upcoming releases include "Jake's Booty Call" and "Electric Apricot: Quest for Festeroo."
