Academy unveils Oscar poster

Drew Struzan, son Christian designed the art

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences on Wednesday unveiled the official 80th annual Academy Awards poster, designed by "Star Wars" key art maven Drew Struzan and his son, Christian Struzan.

"Drew and Christian have captured the allure and excitement that surround both the Oscar itself and the ceremony at which they are presented," said AMPAS prexy Sid Ganis.

Acad plans to distribute 50,000 of the posters worldwide to tubthump the Feb. 24 ceremony.
