"As I Am" sold 70,000 copies in the week ended Sunday, according to Nielsen SoundScan, bringing its cume to 2.7 million.
Radiohead's "In Rainbows," which opened last week at No. 1, sold 69,000 and dropped to No. 2.
Rhino's soundtrack to "Juno," featuring mostly songs by Kimya Dawson, sold 68,000 copies in its first week of physical release. It rose nearly 80% from the previous stanza, when it was being sold only as a digital download.
Only 2,600 sales separated No. 1 from No. 3.
The week's biggest debut is Sia's "Some People Have Real Problems" (Hear Music), which sold 20,000 to open at No. 26. "Made of Bricks" (Geffen) by Kate Nash, who topped the charts in her native England last year, sold 16,000 copies to debut at No. 36.
The only other album in the top 50 that saw a rise in sales from the previous week was "The Grammys 50th Anniversary Collection," and its rise was only a couple hundred. Available only at Starbucks, it sold 16,000 copies for the second week in a row.
