Tuner festival seeks entries

NAMT now accepting submissions

Submit, composers! The Natl. Alliance for Musical Theater is accepting submissions for its 2008 edition -- fest No. 20 for the org. The event takes place Oct. 20-21, and the deadline for submission is Feb. 8 for non-NAMT member orgs and agencies, Feb. 22 for members.

Fest's main claim to fame is as an early developmental stop for Broadway tuner "The Drowsy Chaperone," but established writers like Rebecca Gilman also take part in the confab, which major producers routinely trawl for talent.
