He made his debut in 1961 in Alfredo Bettanin's prison release tale "Libertad bajo palabra," later landing parts in comedies with the comic duo Alberto Olmedo and Jorge Porcel, such as "Los caballeros de la cama redonda" and "Basta de mujeres," the story of friends that convince a loyal husband to take on a lover, as well as the "Odd Couple"-like "Departamento compartido" (Unlikely Roommates).
His final performance was as a taxi driver in Hugo Sofovich's swindler comedy "La herencia del tio Pepe" (The Inheritance of Uncle Pepe) in 1997.
In the 1990s, he co-hosted the TV entertainment show "Fax" with Nicolas Repetto on Artear-Canal 13.
He is survived by his son Rene, a legit actor and director.
