Gershon, Granath join History Makers

Will take producer pitches at conference

MONTREAL -- Bernard Gershon from the Walt Disney Co. and Hallmark Channel co-chairman Herbert A. Granath have been added to the lineup of the History Makers conference in New York City.

The confab is for broadcasters and producers involved in history and current affairs programming and runs Jan. 17-19.

Gershon and Granath will take part in the Strategies for Success session, along with Drew Lipsher, a partner at Greycroft. They will be pitched by producers.

Gershon is senior VP and general manager, corporate strategy, business development and technology at Disney. Granath is chairman emeritus of ESPN, co-chairman of the Hallmark Channel and vice-chairman of Central European Media.
