Mary J. Blige tops charts

'Growing Pains' moves to No. 1

Mary J. Blige will unseat Josh Groban when Nielsen Soundscan sales figures are issued Thursday.

In its second week, Blige's "Growing Pains" topped 200,000 to move up a slot to No. 1. Alicia Keys' "As I Am" slid into the No. 2 slot on sales of 193,000,

Groban's "Noel" sold 178,000 copies despite only one sales day in the period prior to Christmas.

Every disc in the top 10 dropped 49% or more from the week prior.

The top debuting disc was "High School Musical 2: Non-Stop Dance Party," a dance remix album, that sold 22,000 copies to open at No. 68. Radiohead's "In Rainbows," officially released Tuesday by TBD/ATO, made it onto some retailers' shelves early and registered 9,000 purchases.
