An average of 2.64 million viewers watched some of the programming during the 25 days of primetime (Dec. 1-25), which was 3% higher than last year's record total. Some 1.16 million adults 18-49, 9% more than last year, tuned in while 16% more adults 18-34 showed up (518,000).
Among all cable networks for the 25 days in primetime, ABC Family finished third in the 18-49 demo behind ESPN and TBS.
ABC Family's original movie "Holiday in Handcuffs" on Dec. 9 drew 6.99 million total viewers, making it the network's highest-rated program (movie or series episode) of all time. Another original movie, "Snow Globe," racked up 4.56 million viewers on Dec. 15, to come in third behind "Handcuffs" and "Santa Clause 2," which harvested 5.08 million viewers.
Fifth and sixth during the 25 days were "Incredibles" (4.3 million) and "Grinch" (3.7 million).
