BERLIN — Kai Blasberg has replaced Ludwig Bauer as managing director of Tele Muenchen Group channel Tele 5.

Bauer, who oversees broadcasting as a member of Tele Muenchen’s executive board, took the reins at the group’s Austrian channel ATV in November after revamping Tele 5.

Blasberg, who was formerly in charge of sales and marketing at Tele 5, also served in various management positions at ProSieben, Kabel 1 and DSF.

Also promoted was Christof Wegenast, former commercial manager, to deputy managing director.
