In the newly created post, Ereno will oversee the consolidation of SPTI as a local producer of fiction and entertainment programming in the Spanish TV market. He'll also develop local TV series and adaptations of international formats.
"This is the first time SPTI has appointed a dedicated head of production in Spain, underlining the strategic importance of the market," said Antony Root, Sony Pictures Television Intl.'s senior VP for Europe, to whom Ereno will report. Ereno was formerly director general of development and contents at BocaBoca, which produces a number of hit shows in Spain.
