Nod, which recognizes outstanding achievement in new media and technology, will be presented at the 2008 PGA Awards on Feb. 2 at the Beverly Hilton.
"YouTube has connected its global audience to the production and viewing of some of the most innovative content available. Chad and Steve had an idea that became a permanent part of the lexicon of our world," said PGA co-chairs Hawk Koch and Mark Gordon.
Previous recipients of the Vanguard Award include George Lucas and James Cameron.
