No official tally of the vote, held at a union meeting Sunday, was revealed, but a rep for Local One said the approval was overwhelming.
The details of the five-year contract have not been disclosed, although it's said to include a new minimum hiring requirement of 17 stagehands for the load-in of Rialto productions as well as changes to rules governing the work performed during the day-to-day running of a show.
Stagehands called a strike Nov. 10 after a protracted and often tense negotiation process with the league that lasted several weeks. The walkout shut down more than 25 Broadway offerings until a deal was struck Nov. 28.
