The Cablevision deal has funneled 2 million subscribers to GAC, swelling its overall total to 52.6 million. GAC said it's now available to at least some cable subscribers in each of the top 140 markets throughout the U.S.
In programming, GAC has an exclusive deal to carry live performances of the Grand Ole Opry and has a contract with Garth Brooks for a number of exclusive programs, including his first televised concert in six years.
Based in Nashville, GAC is owned by the Scripps Co.
