Madrid prepares for L.A. campaign

Three bodies combine for promo work

MADRID — Spanish producers’ rights collection society Egeda has inked an alliance with PromoMadrid and the CEIM Madrid Business Confederation to strengthen relations between film and TV companies in the U.S. and their counterparts in Madrid.

The agreement follows a trade delegation visit last month to Los Angeles organized by the same partners and Egeda U.S.’s bowing plush offices in Beverly Hills.

Egeda will offer its contacts to Madrid producers. PromoMadrid and CEIM will appoint a contact person to work out of Egeda’s L.A. office and service Madrid companies.

The late October trade visit saw execs from 24 Madrid companies meet with L.A.-based firms.

PromoMadrid aims to enhance Madrid’s based firms’ international biz and capture foreign investment in Madrid.
