He will oversee operations at the company and continue to manage the structured finance division and support not only the expansion of Relativity's slate business but also the one-off film deals.
Marcus joined Relativity in summer 2005 with more than a decade of experience in finance and film production. Under Kavanaugh, Marcus helped structure and oversee a number of slate-financing packages including Gun Hill Road I, Gun Hill Road II and Beverly Blvd., Relativity's recent five-year co-financing deal with Sony Pictures Entertainment.
"Having Andrew on board to oversee our business growth and operations is critical to Relativity Media's continued success," Kavanaugh said. "He has been a key player in the company's recent accomplishments, and we look forward to continuing and expanding our relationship with him."
Marcus previously worked as a production executive at GreeneStreet Films as well as an indie producer and financial consultant.
